As séries ALC882 7.1 2 Canais de Audio de Alta Definição com a UAA (Universal Audio Architecture ou arquitetura audio universal), caracterizando cinco 24-bits Stereo DACs e três 20-bit stereo ADCs, sendo projectados para sistemas (PC multimédia) de elevado desempenho.

A série ALC882 incorpora a tecnologia proprietária do conversor para conseguir sobre a qualidade do playback da relação 100dB Signal-to-Noise; facilmente cumprindo as exigências PC2001 e igualmente trazendo a qualidade do som do PC mais perto dos dispositivos electrónicos do consumidor.

As séries ALC882 fornecem 10 canais de DAC que suportam simultaneamente o playback 7.1, mais 2 canais do som Stereo independente do saída/output (múltiplo streaming) através das canais Front-Out-Left (Frente-Saída-Esquerda) e Front-Out-Right (Frente-Saída-Direita). A mistura flexível, o mudo, e as funções de gain control fornecem uma solução de audio completa e integrada para os PCs de ultima geração.
